KL by night

I had child minding duties this morning so organised a sparkie for when I'm back, did more sorting and then took the PC over with me.  A wise move as though Amelia was a lot better she preferred, after I made her scrambled egg on toast, to watch stuff on her i-pad with her flashing cat headphones on. We also filled the dishwasher and watered the plants.

#1 son came back from the meeting at the school about the assault issue relatively happy with the outcome.  Turns out that as it is a government school the M of E will have to carry out the investigation and that could take months.  In the interim Amelia will get another teacher when Year 2 starts mid Feb.  The worrying thing is this wasn't an isolated incident.  Both girls have seen other instances of similar things.

After he'd updated me and he and he and Olivia had butchered a chicken Olivia and I went for a swim here and then she watched Youtube and I, sorted.

Dinner was the chicken over the way.  I finished packing and then horror, realised by small case was 2/3 ins too big for Air Asia.  Back to HK to borrow a smaller one.  I think I might have managed with the one bag 7kg limit but this way I don't have to worry.  I ended the day arranging a meeting for tomorrow night, following yesterday's news.  Not what I'd planned to do January 2025.

The lights were back on on Merdeka 118.  Makes for an impressive night time skyline.
