Anticipation

I could photograph chickadees every day.  They are the most loyal customers at the Back Porch Cafe, but I was particularly happy with this photo as I was able to get both black button eyes and the wee beak open in anticipation of his coming snack.  Look at the sweet tilt of the head! Nothing could be cuter on a cold winter morning.  I actually ventured out yesterday afternoon.  Without the wind howling, it wasn't too bad.  No snow in sight, thankfully.
