Snow in the hills

In our area we have escaped the very difficult conditions that the snow and ice have brought about.  It has been, and still is, bitterly cold, but there is no snow lying and only a bit of ice in places.  The roads are fine for traffic and our schools are able to function.  Not so in the north of England and the north of Scotland where conditions are very challenging.  I do hope things improve for them soon.

But the hills are nicely covered and make a lovely picture!
