One of our joint Christmas presents this past year was a pottery course for beginners. I have always felt inspired by watching potters and keen to give it a go myself.  Today M and I went along for our first session. A really talented young potter locally gives these lessons in his workshop at the bottom of his garden. M and I had the place to ourselves and great one-on-one attention. It was just wonderful fun and we managed to have five moreorless decent pieces each by the end of it. Bowls and plates only you understand!  

There might be a blip of a finished product in due course!
