New project

Mr PHL took his brother and the kids to the airport after breakfast as their flight was at 12.15 and I got started on the washing. Peter had helpfully taken sheets off beds so it didn’t take long to remake the spare room bed and clean the bathrooms. A wee bit of hoovering and deflating of the air mattress my niece used and all three rooms were emptied.

Caught up on the ironing before a bite of lunch and I was able to finally open my most recent wool purchase to get started on a baby blanket. It’s been nice to get back to making something.

The house is quiet and peaceful again and I’m sure we will miss the company but boy am I enjoying it being just the three of us. Phin was a little confused when we brought him home from daycare and had to check every room. Bless him.
