'Tis time

Term starts tomorrow and attention is turned to money skills. For many of my students recognition of coins and notes is still being learned and we always throw in some old or unusual ones to see if they are recognised or not. (Apologies to Scottish blippers - but here in the West Midlands of England a good number of my lot haven't ever seen Scottish notes before.)

I have carried the Scottish pound note and the 1/2 penny in my purse for more years than I want to think about. The £10.00 is from last summer's holiday in Fife.
