Playing with rim light

When my friend was over earlier in the week we were talking about rim lighting.  She showed me a photo and I watched a you tube video.  This morning I gave it a try.  (I should have been out enjoying the sun). Time went by way too quickly.  I don't spend enough time learning my speed lights so I'm always trying to sync them etc, but I think I learned quite a bit today.  Now if I just play around with this again soon I maybe able to refine it a little bit. 

Mom had an appointment for a blood check this afternoon and she was perfect.  Some good news, dad slept all night and was up moving around today.
