Another money saving tip for old gits
Do you get irritated when an "empty" container still has a usable amount of material still left in it? Well fight back; don't throw it away, break in and release the contents.
This "empty" plastic bottle yielded enough sun cream almost to refill a handy 75ml tube** and that will probably last me for the rest of summer.
Use the same approach for other plastic containers.
Hit toothpaste tubes with a hammer to expel residual dentifrice. Ditto No More Nails.
What about your can of WD40 when the propellant runs out. There's still WD40 in there so puncture the can (two holes) with a nail, pour the liquid out into another container, and apply it with dropper.
**I use a plastic syringe to re-fill small sun cream tubes from large bottles.
