Detail

As a change from the snow and ice, although there is still plenty of that around, here’s a nice architectural detail, presumably air bricks, from our city centre buildings - the original School of Art.

I don’t normally spend any time there, but I have just started teaching a new course and have been allocated a room down there as our base for teaching. I had a nose around the courtyard during the break and spotted this nice bit of terracotta (?) detailing.

It’s still very tricky getting about on foot, but the trains have been reliable.
