The Howgills

One of the joys of snow in this part of the country is a chance to see the Howgill Fells. The blanket of white brings their distinctive shape to life in a wonderful way.
This shot was taken from Sandside just over a mile east of Arnside  on the southern bank of the Kent Estuary.
