Looking thoughtful

Miss Tiggy,

she has a thick coat, most welcome in this weather, although the loose hair causes an issue if not combed regularly.  I think it was when Ted the kitten arrived I didn’t think to groom her enough, the result was horrible, for her and the person cleaning up. Lesson learnt. Part of the morning routine is to brush her using a wire type cat brush to work through the lower back fur, for some reason it is very thick here, followed by a good combing.  This five to ten minute grooming saves her from the discomfort of furballs and one of us a grotty cleaning up job, she has quite a range.  Afterwards she has a sort of laxative, this helps the through put of hair in her system, a well known make is Kat a Lax although I am trying another cream this week.  Fortunately Tiggy loves to be brushed and combed and takes the cream from my finger quite happily.

She is socialising again and playing in the siting room with us, this evening her enthusiasm when playing with the furry ball on a rope resulted in a torn string, easily fixed and operational again. It was good to see her join us although Ted is not in favour at all.  He doesn't mind, in fact quite oblivious to her grumpiness towards him.

We haven’t seen Greyboy for 5 days, he has a very thick coat and can take care of himself, we are trying not to worry, it isn’t going to help, all the same I don’t like it.
