Blackbird

There was a severe frost overnight which meant that the remaining snow on the ground has completely solidified…the footpaths have turned into skating rinks. I chickened out and did not go for a walk…first day missed this year :-(

I was fortunate to see this this blackbird visiting our bird bath…with some sun shining between the houses to light him up. It was shot through the (dirty) windows and is heavily cropped so is not great quality - but a blip is a blip.

It is forecast to be even colder tonight so I expect to be stuck indoors again tomorrow :-(
