Three swans at sunset

A busy day. It was very cold at work at times, but next week will be warmer.
Popped to M's for a lunchtime walk. Visited Mum for a cup of tea. Then called in at the canal to check on the swans. I met one of the knowledgeable Swan ladies there, and she filled me in on what's going on in the local Swan world I.e. on the canal and the pond-theres going to drama again this year I think.
Making a thick lentil soup tonight as a fight back against the cold!
