Dartmoor Snow

There was no more snowfall last night but and when I got up what had fallen was still there, frozen on the grass. It was a bright clear day and the deck was covered in thick ice and I had to go very carefully to get down to feed the birds.

The benefits of living on a steep hill are the great views over the river but when the weather is wintry it does cause problems. I had an appointment at the surgery so I was willing the sun to melt the ice and snow so I could get down there without slipping on my artefacts.

I had a yen to go up to Dartmoor to see the snow up there but in the end decided I'd send the drone up for an aerial shot.
