A rose flower on the patio at twilight

I was surprised once again by this rose. I always wondered whether the Glastonbury Christmas Rose story was a tall story, associated with the idea of Joseph of Arimathea visiting the tot and the adjacent Chalice well. 

Seeing this rose not only still growing but also producing four flower buds at New Year was rather good evidence to the contrary.
