I can't usually get back to sleep even when knackered after a fairly sparse night's sleep but managed to this morning when Nicky kindly trundled the boy downstairs for breakfast. It resultantly felt earlier than early afternoon when we eventually got out and Botanicwards for some stamping in puddles. I always forget to take something with sufficient absorbency to be able to remove the water from slides when visiting playparks after or during rain but with the rainsuit this was unnecessary, though he wasn't expecting the reduced friction of the combination of a wet slide and a rainsuit and slid right off the end to plonk squarely onto the ground on his arse.
