Surprise

We were away over the whole of Christmas and New Year, so we thought we'd missed out on the Mairie's annual gift box to the oldies in the village. But when S went to the Mairie this morning to pick up our annual supply of rubbish bags, he was surprised to be handed this box full of treats that they'd saved for us.It's definitely smaller but much classier than it has been for the last few years -- plenty of treats there! as long as you're not vegetarian

This is the only photo I took today. Lots of chores in the morning, and in the afternoon I braved the high wind to go on a short walk collecting pine cones to light the fire with. Then out to the first yoga session of 2025. Eric had decided to take it gently, so there were only a couple of contortionist positions that I gave up on. Plus I nearly dozed off a couple of times during the half hour lying on the floor at the end. It was pleasant.
