Cambridge Tradition

Fitzbillies, Cambridge cake shop royalty ( well they’ve been here a long time ). Famous for their Chelsea buns but I have to say the sausage bap I had in there earlier was better than any fancy pastry (Chelsea bun included ).

We send clients Christmas gifts from Fitzbillies, always very well received. Anyway we were in there following a meeting nearby, interesting times !

This was all after the horrors of an early dentist appointment. I hate going to the dentist, mainly due to the butcher who was my dentist when I was young, I associate dental surgery with pain and blood. Anyway today was the third time I have been since we lived in Linton ( 22 years ) and my teeth and gums are fine. I need to brush a little more gently and I have a filling that needs replacing at some point but there is no urgency ( it’s been there for well over 40 years ). Phew!
