Still plenty of snow at Beacon. The dogs loved it. They were so excited. 

Busy work day and it's a lot of extra work with the horses carting hay and breaking water on it the troughs. The horses are all fed up. I'm a little anxious that Jack isn't drinking enough - it can't be nice drinking freezing cold water but unless I stand there with a kettle all day there's not much I can do! He had some recovery mash juice on his tea tonight. 

Charley seems a little perkier again today. Just want to be sure he's comfortable.
