A Bright New Day

Brilliant sunshine today - the woofer and I walked through the village green, the park, Brookend Gardens and the path towards Sandford Mill - and home again, all of which is only about 4km but took nearly two hours because there are so many distractions for a little dog and lovely long lush grass to scamper about in. I'm just glad to be outside on a day like this - especially after yesterday's doldrums. 

After lunch I had a 2 hr video call with mbfiatw Jean - it's been a while since we chatted so there was lots to talk about. Better than professional therapy.

This evening bro and I took advantage of a 50% off voucher for Toby Carvery where I can always feast on veggies. I'm now at home in recovery mode on this very satisfactory day. Although it's very cold, there's been no wind today and the sky is wonderfully clear tonight - lots of twinkling stars and a bright, bright moon. So beautiful, and hopefully a sign that tomorrow will also be sunny
