Vines

its our last full day here so spent some time clearing up the house and packing. We took an afternoon drive out to a couple of our favourite wine places and took some photos of the countryside en route. This is near to a local village of Trouillas and is typical of the local countryside. The vines are nearly all interspersed with a pretty white flower, which I assume is a weed but looks lovely. Unfortunately we were told that this year's yields were very low due to serious drought in the area with many of the older vines lost.  Do hope they get some serious rain here soon.
