Canalside Cottage

Fleur was back at the vets today to check her blood pressure. Thankfully, it isn't high and the cause of her eye problems, but it still leaves her with diminished eyesight. She's been prescribed pain killers, so we will see if it makes her feel better.

We took a walk, trying to find a route that was predominantly in the sunlight as it was yet again a bitingly cold day. My car failed to start again, a flat battery was the cause and I appear to be back with a slow drain in the electric system. The owners at the garage have advised that it can be very difficult to identify the cause, so it has been on charge most of the day.

other than that we took advantage of a deal at a local pub for 50% off main meals and then settled down to watch a TV programme called Patience.
