Family heirloom?

This was gifted to me by Dorsetb many years back. It belonged to his dad’s Uncle, and Dorsetb thinks it was his wedding hat.
The crown has a bit of moth damage, but the brim is still in reasonable condition, so I’m going to try and salvage that and incorporate with another crown.
It’s fascinating taking it apart. There might be another blip of the inside tomorrow!
