The Commercial Arcade, Guernsey

Popped into town (St Peter Port) to sort out some balloons for next Tuesday's celebration. Fabulous day here and town was looking great. This narrow street led to some serious steps that I used to go up and down to ballet classes as a little girl.

The grill in the pavement running through the centre of the arcade drains rain water and I used to walk along it taking care not to 'fall off'. You still see children doing this 53years later, some things never change!
