Double act
Another busy day at the grindstone (keyboard). Mainly reporting on last year’s activity and trying to predict the future with regards to the new one, but apparently a licked finger held aloft won’t quite cut it from a budgeting perspective….
Due to Panto commitments I had a bonus visit with the wee ones this evening and we had a Maccy D’s delivered (it was truly awful, but the apple pies were amazing) and a chat before I dropped them off and headed back down to Burneside for the extra rehearsal that had been called.
We worked hard to iron out the kinks and pick up the pace, so hopefully the whole thing should pop along and generate as much mirth as possible.
I was delighted to find that the producers had put a nice poster out featuring my father, which explained his presence/absence at certain points in the show - I know he and the wider family were touched by the gesture too.
We also had sight of some excellent professional photos (also extras) which had been taken last night (credit and props to Pete Howarth Media) and I thought would be the ideal accompaniment to today’s blip. Regular readers may recognise Samm in the photo with me, who also doubles as the voice of The Bear, which we were talking about last night.
No work tomorrow and looking forward to some down time before the madness of a four-performance weekend ensues!
