Kos we could

On Saturday 22.06.1991 drove Angie's parents to Munich Airport (Riem) for their holiday flight to Kos. Somehow walked past one of those Last Minute Holiday booths & made an enquiry.

Cut long story short weight booked 2 weeks in Kos,  departing the following Saturday AND staying in exactly the same hotel as her parents.

We didn't try to inform them, back in those days, I had a so called mobile phone but you hardly dare make a phone call within Germany, never mind Greece. And no WhatsApp & Co.

So we flew, got to the hotel, checking in just before dinner. Then sat in the foyer waiting for her parents to arrive - they like to eat early as do most Germans!

You can probably imagine the surprise & they weren't too put out they would need to get a taxi home in a weeks time.

So two weeks sunshine from 29.6 to 13.7.91
