Tradition

Today was the day of the holiday Kilmacolm picnic. This has become a tradition with my friend Alison and her three boys. We try to do it in all the main school holidays, except Christmas for obvious reasons. Whilst not the glorious weather of previous weeks, it was warm and dry and lots of playing and eating was done so all home tired and happy.

I did have the camera but we were busy so no pictures were taken at the time. These roses were a welcome home gift from. Mum and dad at the weekend and I love the depth of colour and how full each of the heads has opened out so I was happy to have this as a fallback blip.
