Lothian Cat Rescue
It was an early start to the morning as Martin had a dental hygienists appointment in Meadowbank. This was handy as it meant we could drop into the Lothian Cat Rescue shop in nearby Easter Road to drop off a cat carrier that had been donated to my charity shop (not allowed to sell it). Anyway, Lothian Cat Rescue were very pleased with it.
This a new shop further down the road from their previous one, and it’s nice to see that the shop front is again painted very artistically with cats.
Our hearts go out to the people of Los Angeles, and the communities devastated by the wildfires. It’s so upsetting and irrespective of it being a mansion or a small house, it’s people memories and lives, which cannot be replaced just by money.
I read an article where this couple’s museum of rabbit and bunny ephemera, built up over 36 years had been totally destroyed. They only escaped with their pets and the first two bunny soft toys that had encouraged them to start collecting. So very very sad.
Take care and be grateful for what you have and the loved ones around you … including pets.
