White-Blue

Successful operation yesterday. Keyhole through my side into the kidney and the stones pulled out. Have to have a day or two waiting for the catheter to be removed, necessary to get rid of the blood. Lots of walking & drinking called for & a bit of food. 

The Isar Clinic is private but takes normal German health insurance patients too. Naturally the true private patients get different food, but while your in there, you can opt in to various levels of additional services. I didn't opt in for any. 

Ward reception desk kitted out in Bavarian Weiß-Blau colours for the Oktoberfest. By the way, never say to a Bavarian the colours are Blue-White. A big no-no.
