Pointless Exercise?

I've cycled 240 miles and run a 10k on my commute in the last two and a half weeks .. ate less food .. drank less beer.. and I'm the same weight I was at the start.

The 3 weeks before that I did virtually no exercise, ate loads of high calorie food, drank loads of beer and stayed the same weight.

I'll report back in in 3 weeks time. Will I be the same weight then I wonder?
