Harder than expected

I took the boys for a walk after work and then I prepared 3 Nose Work searches for them.

I had a chiropractor appointment and when I was done, the scent had had time to settle in the environment and it was ready for the boys to work. 

All 3 searches had 3 hides placed  in a triangle so that the scent would merge. This makes it harder and it is a good challenge. 

2 of the searches seemed quite easy for all 3 boys, but the third one was difficult. That's the one in this picture. One hide was placed in the tree, one on the gate and one on the wall (see the arrows). The wind came from the back, so the scent was carried behind the gate (where dogs weren't allowed, so we couldn't just open the gateand work from the other side), which meant that the boys had very little to work with. 
They enjoyed the challenge and were successful,  but it took a while.
