We Did It

We found that our ottoman bed was broken over Christmas. One of the hydraulic struts had sheered off and the bed wouldn’t stay up. We managed to find a new one in the sales and it was delivered today. They bring it up to the bedroom, but they don’t assemble it. You have to do that yourself. I did the last one about 15 years ago, (We’ve had a new mattress in between), but I’m sure it wasn’t that difficult. This was a major effort, but we managed it together.
Poor Hilary was knocked across the room by the mattress when it sprung open like a king size jack-in-the-box!
We will sleep well tonight after that!
