Doubles

The odds are small but we have a son in law and a daughter in law whose birthdays are today (amazingly, their parents share a wedding anniversary too).

My day - I worked and then went for a very short lake swim. The air temperature was 1’ and the water temperature was 3’. It’s probably the coldest swim I’ve done in the last 3 decades and it wasn’t as shocking as I thought it would be. I only stayed in for 10 minutes or so.

Then home and out again - for a meal with some of the family plus Ali - and we celebrated WelshMan’s 24th birthday by eating Turkish. Elbows was 2.5 hours delayed as he had to attend a police station to help someone we know. Ali was late because of traffic so we played SkyJo to pass the time. It was a lovely evening. Joy to have the company of Dot.T & WelshMan, NoaNoa and MightyMouse.
