Blue Tit

We seem to have a few families of blue tits coming in now because of the temperatures dropping. It's now -3C though no snow just dangerous icy conditions. The feeders are full of food so I have the usual suspects flying in, nothing unusual sadly but it's early doors on the winter visitors.

I opted not to go to the owl field. I'd been in Cheltenham all morning starting with the gym.

I was up early but not early enough to prevent a disaster on the kitchen floor as Millie our border terrier puppy has an upset tummy and has had for a week. ....I don't need to say any more I feel on that one. Her walk was a pointless exercise therefore on that front  but we both loved crunching through the frost.

I have got sucked in tragically to her Tracker App which tells me her sleep cycle, health, exercise  and walk history.

There is a Leaderboard (oh yes) on the exercise front for dogs local to the area and this is where it really starts to get very tragic. Millie quite a few weeks ago was a creditable second to her boyfriend down the road then later to  a 1 year old border collie. Now ...she is top of the leaderboard and has been a for a little while. Worryingly or conversely creditably depending, this reflects on me. I want her to have a great life, as much exercise as she needs and that goes for me too but the Tracker then said, 'Millie has now reached her goal. What about you?'   .................. I stood and looked at this message  ...and looked! Hmm really ..? That is another blip I feel.
