The end of the day
Another chilly and busy day. My usual Fri half day working, and more progress on handing over various projects before I finish.
Then lunch with blipper Mindseye and another photo club friend at a lovely new cafe in an old chapel (Worsley coffee company). First time I had moved the car since Mon evening, and it took some serious scraping as the ice/frozen snow on the windscreen was a good cm thick.
Back home for a call with the director of Open Eye Gallery about the very exciting project that I have alluded to in previous blips. It’s got the funding, so I now feel comfortable saying that I’ll be doing a socially engaged residency with the wellbeing garden at RHS Bridgewater this year Alongside various other photography residencies in other aspects of the garden. Lots of details to be worked out, but it feels like it’s bringing together all the various strands of my work.
Finished the day with a quick walk up to the shop, spotting this beautiful misty sunset across the site of a former school on my way home. So the delicate pink sunrise will be relegated to an extra.
