Busy day today - quick morning eyelash blip ;) Here ae some random facts about our eyelashes...
~Lashes contain 3% of water and 97 % of protein called keratin.
~Eyelashes take about seven to eight weeks to grow back if pulled out.
~Normal eyelash growth cycles last about 100 days.
~Long lashes are considered a sign of femininity in most, if not all, cultures.
~Eyelashes of the embryo develop between the 7th and 8th week.
~We have about 150 to 200 lashes on the upper eyelid and 75-100 on the lower.
~Eyelashes also protects the eyes from pollen, dust and other harmful foreign particles.
