Blue marks the spot

The spot being a redundant water pipe that we discovered today has lost its iron cover plate. Whoever took it had at least covered the opening with a small paving slab. It's in the shrub bed In front of our garden wall.   This all came about because we saw a chap from Affinity Water outside the house.  He was actually looking for the fire hydrant as he was checking the asset register. With the help of a metal detector, he eventually found it hidden in the undergrowth in the ditch opposite. He marked that with the blue spray as well. He has ordered a new frame and cover for the pipe by our front wall which will be plastic so presumably less likely to be nicked.
