Sunset

Phil woke us, unaware, when he left at 5.30. Food shopping at Swaffham. We talked about Christmas dinner out for the four of us, but I can't justify the cost, even if it would be a gift. Phil hadn't taken the opportunity to ask mum to their's for Christmas with us too. Im not leaving her on her own, so it will be MrK, FK, mum and me. I think we should stay in Chelmsford and have in-laws on Boxing day. It may be Mil's last. 
Mums boiler was making a terrible noise. So much so, her neighbour came round and said there was a smell of gas. Ì turned the boiler off and rang the engineer. It turned out mum had missed a service last year. He said there was no gas escaping and would be back tomorrow to service and investigate further. Luckily mum had a plug in radiator in the garage.
Sunset was beautiful tonight.
