Fryday….

……Nancy woke very early and shouted that she could see The Plough through the Velux window. Naturally, I was delighted at this.

When we did eventually wake ‘normally’, we headed up to Gala for our induction session at the gym. I’m not a fan of free weights but the cleverly designed machines are acceptable if I have a decent podcast to listen to.

Then it was home for brunch and a walk around the village in the sunshine. Another beautiful day.

Nancy had noticed that our pond has frozen over, so I took a hammer and screwdriver to break holes and remove a square of thick ice. We’ve a healthy population of aquatic critters wintering there so I’ll need to keep that open.

Pepper chicken and sweet tatties in the air fryer before we headed down to the pub for a couple of ‘end of week’ brews. Spiffing.
