I Support the Girls

I went to check out a local non profit called I Support the Girls (ISTG).” I came across them while looking for a place to donate gently used bras (it’s remarkably difficult to find places that’ll take them).

Through a network of affiliates, ISTG collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products to women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress due to domestic abuse so they can stand tall with dignity.

As their website says: “ Working hard for the 50% of the population who often suffers most when things go wrong… Because even if all else were equal, biology ensures that it’s not.”

I’ll be spending some time volunteering there this year :)
