A Perfect Day

My sister Em has an amazing raft that she uses to float in the ocean just off of her patio. Today she blew it up for its first use of the season and I plopped onto it. She splashed a bunch of sea water on the raft so I’d stay cool. Then she walked along in the water about chest deep and pulled me after her. Eventually she tied the raft up to the esplanones - the wooden structure that helps to keep the sand at the shore in place - and left me to gently rock in the sea. The water wasn’t deep so I slipped off when I’d had enough sun. What a magical experience!
