Birthday boy

Back blip - Thursday 
The temperature was around -8 in Manchester first thing and snow and ice were causing transport problems. Luckily the city centre was okay and we managed to get a tram out to the Ethihad for our stadium tour at 11am. The tour guides were excellent, very knowledgeable and great fun, making it one of the best stadium tours we've been on. Things are much more interactive now too, so we got to have a "meeting" with the boss and have photos of that.
We were supposed to be meeting Emma's parents for lunch at Mowgli afterwards, but the snow was bad out where they live in Bollington and unfortunately they couldn't make it in as trains were cancelled.
