Vase

I tried 3 vases before I could get these lilies to stand upright. We had a heavy rainstorm this afternoon and the lilies were lying flat on the ground. I tried to hold them and take their photo with no success, then had a few dismal tries from ground level holding the phone on selfie mode. I decided to cut them and tried three vases and ended up tying the stems together with a rubber band. I also took one in mono (by accident) which I like but it’s a shame to waste the colour. 

This morning I walked up to the shopping centre to buy some much needed underwear. It’s always a bit hit and miss as to getting something to fit. I wont take a selfie to show you. That wouldn’t be nice.

The steroid didn’t help my hip pain after the local wore off. I don’t know if I have arthritis, bursitis or tendonopathy. I do have a joint effusion which can be caused by any of these problems. I am really slowing up and it took 18 minutes to walk a km (that includes waiting at traffic lights). I seem to go from one health problem to another, at least my cough is on the mend after 4 weeks.
