What a catch

It’s a cheats blip tonight. My grandson just sent me this pic of him with a Kingfish he caught today down  at Haast on the West Coast of the South Island of NZ. First one of that species he has ever caught.
Successful day for me, I was out gardening early as rain was threatening. I decided breakfast could wait. I managed to get planted all that I had bought yesterday and transferred things. Also did some cutting back and weeding . Came in for breakfast around 10am and down came the rain.
I now have three swan plants in so am ever hopeful that some monarchs will turn up in time. Hope they give the plants some time to get a bit of growth on first though
NZ have just been soundly beaten by Skr Lanka at cricket after winning the first two games. It’s a funny game
