Freezing. Honest(l)y…

… All very beautiful and still minus three degrees here.

A slow day for me, after a somewhat late (very pleasant) last evening. (The biscuits were nice, despite my butchering the recipe, thank you Mary B!). They were a very (very) small part of the fare on offer… ‘Drinks and Nibbles’ seem a lot more ‘elevated’ than they used to be. Should we blame Meghan?? She’s doing much ‘elevating’ in her cookery at present, I gather. (Mint Leaves R Us? I suppose a bit of greenery never goes amiss).

Presentation has never been my strong suit.
I love cooking and baking and would love to possess the flair for serving up, but you can’t win them all.

An early night tonight I think?
I love going out but it takes me hours and at least a large Horlicks to settle down when I get home… Too much excitement.
(I really should get out more!).
