A Mini Landscape
I walked into town this afternoon, very carefully, as there were still some patches of ice about.
I visited the library to book onto their excellent monthly talks for the year, did some shopping and visited the churchyard to see if there were any snowdrops out. They are just beginning to emerge but not really in bloom enough for photos yet. However, whilst I was there I came across this old 'table-top' height tomb that had an inscription on the top. It was mostly grown over with moss and the lettering was pretty much illegible, but I rather liked the way that nature was taking it over and had created a mini landscape all of its own. All I did was remove a small twig which was rather spoiling the vista.
