Nativity Set

You may have thought that I have neglected the Baby Jesus and his entourage this Christmas but, rest assured, the key characters have been placed in a timely fashion as per tradition, albeit in a somewhat random arrangement, owing to my suffering with a heavy cold and resulting fatigue over the Christmas and New Year season.

The various wise men and astronomers now have sufficient pack animals to carry their gifts for the baby plus provisions and a change of underwear, in order to maintain their dignity while away from home.

You may notice that the shepherds have retreated to the hills with their sheep, but having relied upon the assistance of a collie, have decided to keep her in case they wander off again, either on the instruction of an angel or a fool's errand. It is to be hoped that at least one of them will notice the wolf fox creeping up behind them.

Also, the cat and kitten have made themselves comfortable close to the animals in the warmth of the stable.

So, be assured, all is well with the Extended Flum Nativity on the Flumlet's bookcase.
