Reprise

Mr Rat and his pals were doing a recce of another relay leg and I decided to go along again and do a proper recce of Leg 4, just in case the teams need any substitutes.
It was -5C but no wind and a light covering in snow in places, otherwice hard tracks and very little ice. I found the most direct route which a few people take but as it involved a near vertical scramble that I wouldn't want to repeat in most conditions I did a loop round to find a better, and more popular, way. Both route came up by the Tyndall Bruce Monument.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself, the running conditions were excellent, and did some extra bits for fun.
We then went for lunch in the local pub before coming home early afternoon.
P.S. We met daughter and some friends in the carpark as they were about to set off on a recce of another leg, and they arrived back as we did!
