I was struck how this woman had framed herself so well.

Good morning at the day job and a lovely afternoon with my friend RL. She’s now lived here for about two years and we had a good conversation about how Brits and Canadians use English differently. I used to think that all the big things in life were similar but every little thing is different, and for a newcomer that can be exhausting.
