The new mural on the Water of Leith is quite good at giving up a colourful blip on a grey day. I chose a different set of details this time, and set it against a background of a picture taken at the market where we braved sitting down with a coffee for a little while (not many other people were doing so...but at least that meant there was no queue for coffee).

Another very cold day, although it's got a little warmer as the day has gone on. However, I found it hard to get warm this afternoon. Even trying to do a peloton workout didn't really do it for me. It was better, however, once the curtains were closed. Cooking also warmed me up. I made a chicken masala curry for dinner, and managed to make it stick to the bottom of the pan. Not impressive.

Mostly, I ploughed on with reading Cuddy, which is our book group book for February. I will be in plenty of time. I'm about four fifths of the way through now.
